We all need data and the internet as a whole to reach out to our loved ones far and across the globe, it’s almost as if without the internet, we can’t communicate with anyone at all. For as long as we can all remember, the internet goes a very long way in the lives of those living in the 21st century as many things have evolved in the past centuries.
However, do you know that you can also communicate or chat without having any internet connection on your Android device, like I mean that you don’t need to worry about having data at all. Yes, it is possible!
There is currently an app called Bluetooth Chat, this app was created by a certain Glodanif. Bluetooth Chat will help you to send short messages and images using Bluetooth technology. You can chat with your friends if you are in the Bluetooth range and don’t have access to the Internet.
So, instead of making use of data to chat, you will use your bluetooth to do that. This will be very helpful for students if there is no Wi-Fi in your school, for travelers to chat between tents in mountains, and in many others cases.
How to use Bluetooth chat app
- First and foremost, download the Bluetooth chat app from here.
- After installing the app, launch the app. Just after launching the app, you will be asked to input your Name and Colour, kindly do so and hit the Save button.
- Make sure the other phone you want to chat with has its Bluetooth turned on, then tap on Scan.
- After successful confirmation from the second phone, a Bluetooth pairing request will display on your phone screen. Tap on “Pair” and the two phones will successfully connect.
Having done all of that, you are now good to go with chatting with your friend via Bluetooth. One disadvantage of this is that, you can only communicate with people within your range and the other person must have the Bluetooth chat app installed in his/her phone.
The Bluetooth chat app has been in existence for a while and it is still helping quite a few, you can join the party if you wish to, it’s up to you. By any chance you are facing any difficulty setting this up, feel free to leave a comment in the comment section below.
