There is no telling what volume of data is needed to stream football matches online as some websites/apps consume more data than others. Stream quality also plays an essential role in determining the volume of data consumed and network strength/speed.
With a new football season already off and running as the EPL and Bundesliga kick-start things, Glo wants to make it cheaper and easier for many customers to be able to stream football matches as they’ve launched data plans dedicated to streaming football games. The Glo Special Football Plan has two plans:
- 4GB for N500.
- 10GB for N1,000.
As long as you have any of these plans activated, your normal data won’t be touched until it expires or gets exhausted.
How to subscribe to the Glo Football data plan
- Dial *777#.
- Reply with 2 (Data) > 2 (Football Data Plan) > 1 (FOOTBALL DATA PACK).
- Select the plan you want to opt-in for by replying with a number to activate.
The plan is only accessible during matchdays (football days), you won’t be able to have access to it on other days.
