Days back, Glo introduced its first-ever set of YouTube data plans. They are cheap and have a good validity period making it the ideal plan for anyone to use a VPN to power it to work for all internet activities.
It has been a while since we had something of this nature from Glo, as with the help of one of the YouTube time-based plans, we can enjoy 1.5GB data for N50. One downside of this is that it is capped at 5 hours. Therefore, you should know that you can enjoy this plan if you’ve got heavy downloading duties. Without wasting any of your time, let’s dive into how we can power all apps with the Glo YouTube time-based plans.
- Psiphon Pro VPN – Download from Google Playstore.
- N50 Glo airtime.
Glo YouTube settings to power all apps using Psiphon Pro VPN
The first thing you need to do is to subscribe to the N50 for 5 hours (Night) plan. You can do this by dialing ∗777#, select Data > Buy Data > Social Bundle > YouTube Bundle, and reply with the number of the plan you wish to purchase.
Don’t bother about the “Night” you see in the bracket, and this would work anytime, any day, as long as Glo has not blocked the loophole. After subscribing to the N50 for 5 hours (Night) plan, launch the Psiphon Pro VPN, go to the OPTIONS tab, select either USA or Netherlands server, go back to the HOME tab and tap Start.
Once it connects, you can start browsing and downloading until you exhaust the data or the 5 hours elapses. Also, note that you can accumulate this data by subscribing to the plan multiple times. This means that the N100 subscription would give you 3GB of data and so on.
That’s all I can share with you today on this topic. If you’ve got any questions, feel free to drop them in the comment section below.
