Just recently after Google confirmed the release of the Android 10 (Go edition), it seems like HMD Global has already anticipated the move beforehand. HMD Global has already confirmed that the Android 10 (Go edition) update on their smartphones that were launched this year and last year.
As it is known, Android 10 (Go edition) can only work on entry-level smartphones and this means that devices like the Nokia 1, 1 Plus, 2.1 will get to receive the update before the end of the year, 2020. Nokia 1 device is expected to receive the update for Android 10 (Go edition) in the first quarter of the year.
Nokia 2.1 was released back in August last year running Android 8.1 Oreo (Go Edition) and was the first Android Go Edition phone to get Pie update back in February. Android 10 update will roll out for the phone in the second quarter of the year, 2020. Nokia 1 Plus was introduced back in March last year running Android 8.1 (Oreo) Go Edition, and it got the Pie update back in June, this will also get the update in the second quarter of the year, 2020.
As of now, only Nokia 1 and Nokia 2.1 will receive the Android 10 (Go edition) update. As usual, exact roll-out dates may vary by region due to operator approvals and local variances.
