MTN has so many data plans to choose from and can currently boast of having one of Nigeria’s best data plans, if not the best. Getting 2GB for N50, 8GB for N130 on MTN would be a lifesaver for many of us; however, you would need a VPN app to enjoy these data plans.

How to activate 2GB for N50, 8GB for N130 on MTN
Subscribe to any MTN YouTube bundle by dialing *131#, reply with 8 (Video Packs) > 1 (YouTube Packs) select any plan most preferably 1hour @N50 or 3hours @N130. The 1-hour plan is capped at 2GB for 50 Naira, while the 3-hour plan is capped at least 8GB of data.
Launch EC Tunnel Pro VPN, ensure you’re connected to a working internet connection to load the servers & tweak list in any of the VPN, open the server list, select either NG|MTN YOUTUBE SERVER 1 or 2, open the tweak list, select NG|MTN YOUTUBE BUNDLE.
Please turn on the data connection for your MTN SIM card, tap the START, wait for it to connect, minimize the VPN, and use the data for your normal internet activities.
If it doesn’t connect at first, turn on airplane mode, turn it off and try using the VPN, it should work now. See this article to know how you can share the data via hotspot.

Try this, switch to 3G mode, turn on airplane mode, turn it off, switch to 4G and try it if it would connect.
