Facebook has began to roll out the Facebook Dark Mode feature that was announced late last year. We were all surprised to see that after announcing the feature October 2018, the feature was still not released, not until now.
The steps taken in order to enable Facebook Dark mode on Facebook Messenger is easy to follow as it has be shown to us by a Reddit user. He showed us the easy way to activate Dark Mode on Facebook Messenger. Here’s how to enable Facebook Dark Mode on Facebook Messenger.
How to enable Facebook Dark Mode on Facebook Messenger
- Launch your Facebook messenger, go to a chat and open it. Then send a moon emoji like this –
- After sending it, you will see a message pop-up at the top that reads “You Found Dark Mode!”.
- Just below that, there will be a button with “Turn on in Settings” written on it. Tap on it.
- As soon as you tap on that button, it will take you to Facebook Messenger settings where you will see a new option called “Dark Mode”. You will have a toggle button right next to it. tap it to ON the Dark Mode.
Unfortunately, only users from Philippines, Portugal, Czech Republic, Saudi Arabia,France, UK, Canada Macedonia and Indonesia have testified that this steps worked for them for those of you in other countries like Nigeria that doesn’t support Facebook Dark Mode, I advise you to use a VPN app.
