Airtel has a hidden data plan that is similar to MTN Welcome Data offer that will give you 250MB for N100, 1GB for N200, 4GB for N1000 on MTN network. On this Airtel plan, you can purchase;
- 200MB – N100 – 3 days
- 1GB – N200 – 7 days
- 2GB – N500 – 14 days
- 4GB – N1000 – 30 days
This particular Airtel data plan is considered somewhat cheap with the only downside that it has is that it is not available to all Airtel SIM cards.
So far, we have not been able to determine how to become eligible for this offer but if you happen to be eligible for this Airtel data plan, then you no longer need to worry about spending much on Airtel.
How to get 1GB for N200, 2GB for N500, 4GB for N1000 on Airtel
It is much more safer to find out if you are eligible for the plan before purchasing airtime, to do so, first of all dial *141*241# and select any data plan of your choice then purchase. If you receive a notification message that indicates that you couldn’t buy the data plan due to insufficient balance, just know that you are eligible for the data plan. Then you can go ahead and buy the required amount of airtime needed to purchase the plan of your choice. On the other hand, if you receive a message that reads;
Dear customer, you are not eligible to buy this data bundle. Please dial *141# to activate data bundle.
