Last year September, MTN re-introduced data gifting into their system to allow MTN users to help one another in one way or the other by sharing data from one recipient to the other. This data gifting feature was good news; however, there was a limit to the volume of data that could be shared every day.
Every MTN user had the privilege of gifting a maximum of 200MB data every day to any MTN number. However, there has been an increment in the volume of data that an MTN customer can share every day. 
You can now gift a maximum of 500MB data to any MTN customer and have the liberty to gift people two times every day. To share MTN data, simply dial ∗131∗7∗1# or read this guide on how to use the MTN Data Gifting feature successfully.
