MTN Nigeria has announced the launch of the MTN Pulse ‘Blow My Hustle’ initiative. The MTN Pulse ‘Blow My Hustle’ engagement is a Youth Empowerment Campaign designed to showcase the ingenuity of Nigeria’s young promising entrepreneurs while also empowering them in a fun and entertaining manner. The campaign aims to help both existing small businesses and new business startups.
Citing a 2021 report by the Fate Institute, MTN stated that the entrepreneurial sector is developing at a rapid pace and identified scarce financing opportunities as a source of frustration for entrepreneurs, which remains a gap the initiative seeks to fill.
The company also stated that it would provide grants and training to 100 young Nigerians who already have businesses or want to start new ones. 
How to participate in the ‘Blow My Hustle’ initiative
MTN subscribers between the age of 16 – 30 should submit a video pitch on the MTN website, fill in their personal information, provide information about their hustle in a 90-second video and submit their entry or you can follow these steps:
- Visit the Pulse website at www.mtn.ng/pulse.
- Click on the “Blow My Hustle’” banner.
- Next, click on “Submit your entry”.
- Fill in your personal information. Remember to you use your MTN Phone Number.
- On the next page talking about your hustle in a 90-second video.

After submitting your entry, wait for it to be reviewed and the top 100 will get invitations to the next phase of the competition. If you make the top 100, all details will be communicated to you before the start of the next phase, which is an online training.
Prize Breakdown
In the next phase, 20 participants will be chosen to participate in the grand finale. They will be invited for the final event to physically pitch their hustles to the judges. The winner goes home with a whopping 10 million Naira, but what’s even more interesting is that everyone goes home with a cash prize.
All 20 participants will have to display all they’ve learnt during the 2-week training, and pitch their hustle to fellow contestants, the esteemed judges and the world.
The chosen hustlers will walk away with cash and training worth 68 million naira (N68,000,000) to take their hustles to the next level. Business grants, training, and data are available for all entries that reach the final stage.
