Samsung announce Galaxy A42 5G as its cheapest 5G phone

by Johnson Daniel

With the 5G portfolio still having room for expansion, Samsung has announced its cheapest 5G smartphone to date, dubbed the Galaxy A42 5G, at its Life Unstoppable virtual event. Samsung didn’t reveal too much concerning the price or the specifications as the company shared images of the phone with only a few of its specs with a promise to deliver the rest later on.

The Galaxy A42 5G features a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED, and from the images shared, there is a waterdrop notch, and should come with an in-display fingerprint sensor.

There is a quad-camera setup at the back of the Galaxy A42 as the tiny lens on the lower right one clearly hints that it’s a depth sensor. The Galaxy A42 5G smartphone will be revealed soon enough and would be available in one colour, black.
