It is not surprising to see data at a low cost on Glo; while this has not been the case recently, the telco company still has some great data deals.
Today, I’m going to show you not only how to get 10GB of data worth N1,000, but also how to use it to your advantage.
There is no secret to obtaining this information on Glo. Glo YouTube data offers 10GB for N1,000 or 5GB for N500 to any registered customer. As implied by the name, these plans are designed specifically for powering YouTube; however, a VPN can help you bypass the restrictions and use the data for other apps and websites as well.
How to get started:
- Recharge your SIM card with at least N500 worth of airtime.
- Download and install the Glo Café app.
- Launch the app, and sign up using your Glo number and email address if you happen to be using it for the first time.
- Enter the OTP sent to your SMS to log in.
- On the app’s homepage, click “Buy Data > Social Bundles“.
- Select any of the last two options and make sure you select “One-off” when selecting any of the data bundles to prevent any automatic renewal after it expires.
Download Thunder or Potato VPN now that you have data on your SIM. Start the VPN, enable mobile data, and connect to any of the VPN apps. Minimize and begin using the data until it runs out.
These data plans are excellent choices for anyone looking for a large amount of data at a low cost. With 10GB and 5GB of data available for 10 and 5 days, respectively, it should give you a run for your money, especially if you are a heavy data user.
