Tecno unveils Spark 9 Pro globally with Helio G85 and 5,000 mAh battery

Tecno has added the latest entry to its Spark series, the Spark 9 Pro. This device brings an Helio G85 mid-ranger with a 90HZ LCD, 5,000 mAh battery, and a 48MP main camera. Spark 9 Pro comes with a 6.6-inch LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution. There is also a 32MP selfie cam tucked in the waterdrop notch.

There is also a 48MP main cam alongside a 2MP macro cam and a 2MP AI lens. MediaTek’s Helio G85 chipset sits at the helm aided by 4/6 GB RAM and 128GB storage which is expandable via microSD. The software side is covered by Android 12 with Tecno’s HiOS 8.6 interface on top. Spark 9 Pro gets a 5,000 mAh battery which handles up to 18W charging speeds.

The Tecno Spark 9 Pro will be available in Quantum Black, Burano Blue, Holy White, and Hacker Storm colors with no known price yet. The phone will be available across several markets in Africa first with a global rollout set to follow.
