The subsidiary of Transsion Holdings, Tecno, has unveiled the Spark Power 2 Air as the latest device in the Spark series in India. As suggested from the “Power” in the name, you shouldn’t expect to get anything less than 6000 mAh battery on this device. Another major highlight is the 7-inch display.
The entry-level device sports a 7-inch display that covers more than 90% of the front of the device with the resolution being on the low side. You can spot an 8MP selfie camera placed in a teardrop notch paired with a dual-LED flash for late-night selfies.

Still, on the camera side, the back houses a quad camera, consisting of a 13 MP main cam (f/1.8 lens aperture) accompanied by 2 MP macro and depth modules, plus an “AI lens.”
The 6000 mAh battery should last up to 15 hours of video playback and 13 hours of playing a game according to Tecno. Under the hood is a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset (four A53 cores at 2.0 GHz, PowerVR GE6320 GPU), running Android 10 skinned with HiOS 6.1. RAM capacity is 3GB, while storage starts at 32GB (with the option to expand using a microSD card).
Connectivity options include Dual LTE and VoLTE are supported, and additional connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5 (ac) and Bluetooth 5.0. The Spark Power 2 Air device will go on sale on September 20 at a starting price of $115.
