Happy new year folks, we’re going to start the year with looking at cheap data plans that we can get on all carrier networks in the country as we hope to make this a tradition of dropping a list of cheap data plans that you can buy and recommend to your friends if the need arises.
MTN holds the spot for having the highest number of options to choose from when it comes to cheap data plan selection, if you’ve been following our posts on similar articles like this, you should know that one popular cheap data plan on the network is the N200 for 1GB data plan, however, that’s not the case for today.
I’m going to list out cheap data plans on the network, some are SIM selective, the only option you have is to give any of them a trial. They are;

9mobile’s revamped data plans are affordable for you to enjoy as there are no eligibility requirements of any sort. You can get 2GB + free Social data @ N500 valid for 3 days, 7GB+ free social data @ N1,500 valid for 7days, 15GB+ free night streaming data @ N5,000 valid for 30 days and so on.
The 1GB data plan that costs N200 is still working and still selects SIM cards. To activate this data plan, all you need to do is recharge your 9mobile SIM card with N200 and dial the code ∗929∗10# to activate it.
As usual, there’s no new data plan from Glo. No one knows what they’ve been up to, but with the Stay Home Data that offers up to 20 per cent more data to subscribers irrespective of the data plan they purchase, there’s almost nothing to complain about on Glo. Dial *777# to subscribe to any of these Glo Stay Home data plans.
The 5GB for N1000 plan poses to be one of the cheapest plan available on Airtel network, it is SIM selective. You can activate it them by dialling ∗141∗242∗4# or dial ∗141∗242# to browse through the list of data plans on the network.
