The third batch of Xiaomi smartphones getting MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition

Many Xiaomi users had struggled with bugs and issues after the MIUI 12 operating system was released. The company had to roll out the MIUI 12.5 update, but it didn’t solve most of these issues. However, the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition took care of most of the issues with the MIUI 12 system. The company has been releasing this system to a plethora of smartphones over the past few months. It recently announced the third batch of Xiaomi smartphones to get this update.

The company is now gradually releasing the stable version of the internal update. According to Xiaomi’s schedule, all the smartphones in this third batch will get the update by December 2021. The smartphones in this third batch include:

  • Redmi 9
  • Redmi 10X 4G
  • Xiaomi Mi Pad 5
  • Xiaomi Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G
  • Redmi Note 11 Pro
  • Redmi K30 Extreme Edition
  • Xiaomi CC9 Pro
  • Redmi 10X, Redmi 10X Pro
  • Redmi Note 11 5G
  • Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite (Youth Edition)
  • Redmi K30 5G
  • Redmi K30i 5G
  • Xiaomi Mi 9
  • Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro
  • Redmi K30
  • Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition
  • Xiaomi CC9
  • Xiaomi Mi 9SE
  • Redmi Note 8 Pro
  • Xiaomi CC9 Meitu Customized version
  • Redmi K20
  • Redmi K20 Pro

There are 23 models in this batch which is more than in previous batches. Considering the number of devices in this batch, the rollout schedule may be different. Thus, if your device is on the list and you are yet to get the update, please be patient. Some functions, services, and optimization effects may vary due to different system versions and mobile phone models.
