The Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) is Africa’s leading entrepreneur-empowerment organization, catalyzing economic growth, driving poverty eradication, and ensuring job creation. TEF believes that the private sector’s role in Africa’s development is critical and that the private sector must generate both social and economic wealth.

To make all of this possible, this foundation has an entrepreneurship program. This entrepreneurship program, which has been available since 2015, is the largest African philanthropic initiative dedicated to empowering African entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship.

The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme 2023 is open to applicants from all 54 African countries who have scalable business ideas or have been in operation for no more than 5 years.
