WhatsApp

WhatsApp has been working on the multi-device feature for months and it appears to be nearing completion. It promises to let users use the same WhatsApp account on multiple devices at the same time.

The version that has this feature is already available for Android and tablet WhatsApp beta users. The multi-device feature comes with version 2.22.24.18 and is already available in the Google Play Store.

As shown in this screenshot, it is very simple to see if you can already link your existing WhatsApp account to a secondary mobile phone: simply look at the options on the registration screen to see if there is a “Link device” option. If this option appears, you can finally use WhatsApp on a second phone.

Your chat history will be synced across your linked devices after you link your WhatsApp account to a new mobile phone. Because this is a beta version, some features, such as the ability to view live locations and manage broadcast lists and stickers, may still be unavailable.

You should be aware that you can link up to four devices at once, so you can link more than two mobile phones to your WhatsApp account. Furthermore, even if you use WhatsApp from a linked mobile phone, your messages and calls are still end-to-end encrypted: when someone sends you a message, it is sent to all of your devices, ensuring that encryption is always maintained.

According to WABetaInfo, some users have discovered the ability to link their WhatsApp accounts to multiple mobile devices at the same time by following the same instructions. Yes, it appears that this feature is not available to everyone at this time.
