WhatsApp promises to ban

WhatsApp, a well-known social messenger, receives frequent updates to provide a good service to its users. As is well known, there are modified versions of the social messaging app that provide a plethora of customization options and are just as popular as the original version.

WhatsApp previously took action to ban accounts discovered using these apps; however, people found a way around the ban and continued to use these apps.

The WhatsApp team recently stated that accounts of users who use an unofficial or modded version of the app will be deleted. That means that if you run a third-party app on your phone, you may endanger your chats and contacts. Users will receive a notification that their accounts have been deleted, according to WhatsApp. They went on to say, “It will notify you first that your account has been temporarily suspended. If you do not uninstall the unofficial app and replace it with the official version, your account may be permanently suspended.”

Keeping all of this in mind, it’s important to remember that the app’s unofficial versions pose numerous security risks. You don’t want your sensitive data to be stolen, so download the most recent version of the WhatsApp messenger app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
