Following the recent release of Xiaomi Redmi Note 7, the smartphone manufacturer has just launched yet another friendly device called, Xiaomi Redmi 7.
This Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 can be considered as a mid-range device, with its 6.26-inch, having a ~81.5% screen-to-body ratio. It features an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 269 pixel per inch density. The Redmi 7 doesn’t weigh that much, it only weighs 180g which is a little bit more than that of Samsung Galaxy S10+. The 6.26-inch screen is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and it is available in Black, red, blue variety of colours for you to choose from.
The main camera has a dual-setup which consists of a 12MP main camera & a 2MP secondary camera. The secondary camera helps by giving more depth to the image captured, all thanks to the depth sensor feature installed to it. For selfies, you have an 8MP camera sensor with HDR features, that promises sleek selfie images using the Redmi 7.
You will be surprised when you hear that this device comes with a Qualcomm SDM632 Snapdragon 632 (14 nm) chipset. For the CPU, there is an Octa-core (4×1.8 GHz Kryo 250 Gold & 4×1.8 GHz Kryo 250 Silver) with an Adreno 506 GPU for graphics. It boots Android 9.0 (Pie) with MIUI 9 on top.
Xiaomi Redmi 7 comes in three variants, 64 GB internal storage, 4 GB RAM or 32 GB internal storage, 3 GB RAM or 16 GB internal storage, 2 GB RAM. This device doesn’t lack behind in power, there is a non-removable Li-Po 4000 mAh battery with fast battery charging 10W to give you less worry on the amount of time used to charge the device.
Other features includes, fingerprint (rear-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, compass, microUSB 2.0, USB On-The-Go, FM Radio, infrared port, active noise cancellation with dedicated mic and so on.
The Xiaomi Redmi 7 only costs between $105 (
N37,800) – $200 ( N72,000) depending on the deal, location and model of the device.
