Smartphone companies have shown off their under-display selfie camera prototypes in the past, and finally, the wait for a device with an under-display camera is over. ZTE officially launched the Axon 20 5G as the first under-display camera phone in China.
ZTE Axon 20 5G comes with a 6.92-inch OLED display sports an FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The panel boasts a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 2460 x 1080 resolution, and 100% DCI-P3 comprehensive color gamut support. The highlight, however, will have to the fullscreen bezel-less display with no notches, punch-holes, or even a pop-up module to house the selfie camera.
Around the back, we have a quad-camera array headlined by a 64MP primary shooter. The auxiliary sensors are an 8MP ultrawide snapper and two 2MP units for depth data and macro shots.
Under the skin is a Snapdragon 765G chipset with 6GB or 8GB RAM and 128/256GB memory. There’s a 4,220 mAh battery with 30W fast charging while the software front is covered by ZTE’s Mifavor 10.5 on top of Android 10.
